Meet Dr. Le
Dr. Tran D. Le graduated from the University of Toronto with specialty training in Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
During her medical training, Dr. Le received numerous awards and honors, including the prestigious Wilkinson Scholarship from the University of Toronto, awarded to the leading medical student in the graduating class. She has conducted extensive research and has been published in several highly respected ophthalmology journals.
Dr. Le began her career as a comprehensive ophthalmologist, working at Elmwood and Finch clinics, bringing a wealth of experience and community involvement to our patients. She speaks both English and Vietnamese, allowing her to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
At North Toronto Eye Care, Dr. Le specializes in cataract surgery and general ophthalmology. Additionally, she is highly skilled in pediatric eye care, accepting referrals from optometrists to diagnose and manage a variety of pediatric eye conditions, such as high myopia and strabismus. Dr. Le utilizes advanced diagnostic tools, including the IOLMaster and OPD testing devices, to provide precise and comprehensive assessments of her patients’ eye health.
