- Northwestern Hospital: Dr. Waisberg was first on staff at Northwestern Hospital, where he eventually became the head of ophthalmology. His leadership and expertise led to his appointment as the surgical director of Northwestern and Humber Memorial hospitals from 1996 to 2004.
- Humber River Regional Hospital: Following the merger of Humber Memorial Hospital with York Finch, he continued to contribute significantly to the newly formed Humber River Regional Hospital.
Transition to North Toronto Eye Care: At the age of 65, Dr. Waisberg transitioned from his solo practice to join North Toronto Eye Care. He continues to work part-time, demonstrating his ongoing dedication to his profession.
Legacy and Impact: Dr. Waisberg is celebrated for his comprehensive ophthalmological care and surgical expertise.
