iLASIK™

The iLASIK™ procedure is a safe and simple alternative to tradition LASIK Toronto and is designed to be 100 percent custom-fit from beginning to end. The iLASIK procedure addresses the uniqueness of your two eyes, delivering the exact correction you need to achieve 20/20 or better vision. With iLASIK, a thin flap is created in the cornea using the IntraLase™ FS laser, meaning that no blade is used. This gives Dr. Rabinovitch greater control to create a precise incision in the cornea in this minimally invasive procedure.

A blueprint (or fingerprint) of your eyes is made with the WaveScan™ 3D Map, providing the most customized results for your eyes. A second laser, the Advanced CustomVue™ excimer laser, is then used to shape the cornea and correct vision based on your individual imperfections. The procedure takes about 10 minutes per eye and only requires numbing of the eyes, not general anesthesia. Over 98 percent of patients experienced 20/20 or better vision after the iLASIK procedure.
